Today was my mom's very last day of school ever! She's been a teacher for a long time and has had a rough year, so she definitely deserves to retire and start this next phase of her life! She has so many plans that I don't know when she'll fit them all in, but I hope she schedules in some times for us!

Thanks for th best wishes on my retirement. The Blogger reminded me of the Adams News. I just was talking about the straightening of 117 last night and remembering that newpaper, published when you were 10.
I like the entries about Esme's new found freedom and about her reading. I am glad you have good friends to support you. Great friends are the biggest help.
I am looking forward to seeing 2/3 of your family tomorrow. Next week we'll have to plan a "take the son in law out to lunch" day, because I miss him too.
When Jenny comes down on Wednesday she will have to teach me to sign on as a blogger. Until then, I will sign off. Mom, Grandma, Ellen, The Retired One, so many names to choose from.
